Ten Easy Steps to Opening a Bally Total Fitness Franchise

Step One:
Fully review the franchising information and conduct your own investigation into the growth and potential of the health club industry. We are confident you will find that the fitness industry - and specifically, Bally Total Fitness, represents an excellent long-term business opportunity.

Step Two:
Fill out and return the application, detailing your financial, business and personal qualifications for owning a Bally franchise. Download an application now!

Step Three:
Upon meeting our preliminary qualifying standards, Bally will contact you to discuss the specific location options and you will receive a copy of the Bally Uniform Franchise Offering Circular. (A copy of the signature /acknowledgement page would be signed by you, dated and returned to Bally.)

Step Four:
Working with the assistance of your Bally representative, you will develop a site location/ feasibility plan, including location specifications, build-out analysis, demographic measurements, competitive factors, market trends and space availability.

Step Five:
Once your feasibility plan is complete and has received preliminary approval from Bally, you will be invited to Bally Franchise headquarters to meet with members of our executive management as part of the Bally franchise approval process.

Step Six:
Upon franchise approval, you will sign the Bally Total Fitness franchise agreement, pay the franchise fee and complete the process of site selection, construction and build-out. At this time you will receive comprehensive construction specifications contained in The Bally Construction and Design Manual.

Step Seven:
If you are a new development franchise, you will follow Bally's 9-12 month opening schedule. Along with the Bally Franchise management team, you will drive the process of overseeing facility development, recruiting, ordering and installing equipment.

Step Eight: The Bally Training Team will come to train you, your managers and other staff members.

Step Nine:
Along with Bally marketing professionals, you will plan and implement a pre-sale program during which you and your staff will sell memberships for your soon-to-open Bally Total Fitness.

The "Grand Opening" of your franchised Bally Total Fitness!
