Q: How can I be removed from your mailing or e-mail list?

To unsubscribe or update your e-mail preferences, visit the E-mail Registration page. To be placed on our do-not-mail list, please send your name, address and signature to the following address:

  Bally Total Fitness Corp.
  Do Not Mail List
  8700 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
  Chicago, IL 60631

You may also want to add your name to the Direct Marketing Association's (DMA) Mail Preference Service (MPS). MPS allows you to "opt out" of national mailing lists. When you register with MPS, your name and address are placed on a "do-not-mail" file. Companies that are DMA members must purge their prospect mailing lists of the individuals who have registered with MPS. Although registration with MPS will help reduce the amount of unsolicited mail that you receive, it will not stop all unsolicited mail.

The MPS "do-not-mail" file is updated four times a year. Your name remains on file for five years. If you move during this time you must re-register with the service. Typically you will see the amount of mail you receive begin to decrease approximately two months after your name is entered onto the quarterly file. Registration through the mail is free, or it may be done online for $5 by going to http://www.dmaconsumers.org/. If you register through the mail, simply send a brief letter with your name, address, and signature to the following address:

  Mail Preference Service
  Attn: Preference Service Manager
  Direct Marketing Association
  P.O. Box 3079
  Grand Central Station, NY 10163

Q: How can I be removed from your telemarketing list?

To be placed on our do-not-call list, please send your name, address, phone number and signature to the following address:

  Bally Total Fitness Corp.
Attn: Scott Munn/ Do Not Call List
  8700 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
  Chicago, IL 60631

You may also want to add your telephone number to the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). The TPS is a free service to assist those consumers in decreasing the number of calls received at home. When you register with TPS, your name, address and telephone number are placed on a do-not-call file for five years. This "delete file" is provided to telephone marketing companies (who choose to use it) four times a year. It is important to note that all companies that are members of The DMA are required to use TPS.

You may register with this free consumer service online at: http://www.dmaconsumers.org. Just complete and print the online form and follow the mailing instructions to register free-of-charge. For faster service, you may register your home telephone number online and provide your credit card information to cover the $5 service charge. Your request will be processed within 30 days, instead of the 90 days if registering by mail.

Or you may register for TPS by mailing a written request including your name, complete home address, phone number including area code, and signature to:

  DMA Telephone Preference Service
  P.O. Box 9014
  Farmingdale, NY 11735-9014
